As a trained chef with degrees in Food Service Management and Culinary Arts, Gary entered into the Senior Living Industry in 2002 as the Corporate Director of Dining Services for a large Senior Housing Management Company. Gary was then recruited by a privately held owner and operator where he served as the Vice President of Hospitality and Dining Services.

Gary then served as the Vice President of Business Development for a large multi-state Management Company serving seniors from coast to coast. There, he worked to identify and evaluate potential new development and acquisitions opportunities in addition to working with operations to facilitate and coordinate successful lease up and openings.

Gary looks forward to serving the Genexus Living team of dedicated individuals who share a common vision of providing meaningful and memorable experiences for residents and families.

Genexus Living Glenn White
Glenn WhiteVice President

Glenn has been in the business arena for 25+ years in a variety of industries and positions working with for-profit and non-profit organizations as a consultant, as well as holding several executive positions including CEO, COO, and VP of Sales and Marketing. Glenn has recently participated in the operations and business development capacities with regional senior living company in the Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing sectors.

As CEO of an international business development consultant firm since 2000, Glenn has served several national and international corporations bringing innovative technology and products to market. Glenn looks forward to applying these diverse experiences in serving and growing the staff, residents and families of Genexus Living Communities.

Management

Genexus Living Tammy Skags
Tammy Skags, RNHealth Services Director

Tammy has 16 years of experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care in the clinical management, system development and training of direct care staff.

For the last 16 years Tammy Skaggs', RN, career has been dedicated solely to assisted living and memory care residents. She has a passion for working with seniors affected by memory loss and finds great fulfillment in helping families affected by this change as well. She believes that with the right interventions, older adults can maintain their dignity and feel a purpose in life no matter what physical and cognitive changes occur.

Tammy is trained in Validation Therapy. This is a program that is used for older adults diagnosed with dementia. Validation Therapy is beneficial to both the senior diagnosed with dementia, as well as, the family that is involved with their care. Tammy is married with one daughter and one grandson. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with them.

Genexus Living Bob Fleener
Bob FleenerHospitality/Dining Director

Bob Fleener has more than 35 years of experience in foodservice industry. After graduating with honors from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Bob worked for a number of country clubs and private restaurants where he was responsible for dining services management teams, food and labor cost analysis, procurement, creating menus, event planning etc.

Most recently, Bob has worked as the Executive Chef at JH Ranch in California. During his time at JH Ranch, Bob has developed many recipes and techniques that combine his passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients while still catering to guest’s dietary restrictions and needs. Bob has enjoyed the challenge of creating and preparing quality meals for the thousands of guests each summer and is thrilled to be a part of the GENEXUS Living team.

Over the years, Bob has found the most rewarding part of all his work experience is his opportunity to share with staff and volunteers what he has learned through the years. "The opportunity to give back to people and pour into their lives all that I have learned, brings me the greatest joy."

Genexus Living Gerry Evin
Gerry EvinDesign, Project, Construction Management

Gerry has 44 years of experience in a wide range of industries that started with 13 years in the Petroleum, Chemical and Industrial design and construction field for a large engineering and management company. Gerry moved into the Hospitality field in design, construction management and new development with a major west coast hotel company that grew the company portfolio by 20 new hotels over a time span of 15 years.

This lead to an interest of working in the Healthcare, Senior housing markets with Senior Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. More recently, as a design, project, construction management and facilities consultant Gerry has focused on supporting many senior housing communities through expansion phases, renovation, capital improvement and operational support efforts.

Gerry is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a degree in Construction Management. More recent, Gerry has been responsible for Interior Design, Procurement and Capital Improvement projects as well as Facilities Management in support of local Northwest operating companies in the Assisted and Memory Care markets.
